Accreditation and Affiliations
The Master of Business Administration program at the School of Business is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), located at 8101 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS 66213, with a contact number of 913-339-9356. ACBSP accredits business, accounting, and related programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels globally. In 2011, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) determined that ACBSP meets its standards and that its accreditation process aligns with the quality, improvement, and accountability expectations set by CHEA.

The following graduate program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP):
- Master of Business Administration
As required by ACBSP, the Master of Science in Information Technology Management program will be considered for accreditation after the first cohort of students has successfully completed the program. The Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership and the Doctor of Education programs with a business concentration are offered through the Center for Leadership Studies and do not have ACBSP accreditation.
Accreditation standards are based on the Baldrige National Quality Program. Employers find value in knowing that Northwest University uses the same standards as those used by other organizations to recognize excellence.
