BIBL 2553 - Biblical Interpretation

This course is an introduction to the theory and practice of responsible biblical interpretation. Students will learn exegetical skills and methods, while also developing their understanding of the discipline of biblical hermeneutics. Attention will be given to critical methodologies, contextual factors, and theological convictions that aid in the wise interpretation and effective communication of the contents of Christian Scripture.
