CRTO 4933 - Creative Career Preparation 3 credits
This course is designed to thoroughly prepare students for their internship and early career experiences, covering all phases from initial preparation to the internship work itself. Tailored to the student’s major, the course will equip them with a diverse set of skills necessary for securing and succeeding in an internship and entry-level jobs in creative professions. These skills include portfolio development, effective job searching techniques, professional networking, resume crafting, enhancing social media visibility for professional purposes, navigating job search websites, mastering interview techniques, understanding workplace protocols, managing professional expectations, and collaboratively contributing to the career development of others. Through a comprehensive approach, students will gain the confidence and competencies needed to embark on their internship journey.
