BUSM 3123 - International Business 3 credits
This course introduces students to fundamental business concepts such as global marketing, trade operations, and finance policies. Through an exploration of international affairs, students gain insight into the relationships between business and global sociopolitical, financial, legal, and economic systems. The course emphasizes the importance of cultural competence and intercultural communication, preparing students to navigate the complexities of international business environments. Students will explore the impact of globalization on local markets through classroom instruction and a faculty-guided international business trip. The course is held on campus during the Spring semester, followed by the required international business trip the week after the semester concludes. The trip fee is not included in the course registration fee and will be added to the student account at the time of registration. The fee is determined annually based on location, airfare, and other factors.
