ENGL 1023H - Honors: Arguing Charitably

3 credits

A course that enables students in the Honors Program to sharpen critical and analytical thinking skills through reading and writing. The course enables students to develop research skills using the Northwest University and other libraries and to develop the ability to analyze and present arguments. Although students compare Modern Language Association (MLA) and American Psychological Association (APA) formats, the writing standard is the APA.
Prerequisite: ENGL 1013 - Composition I: Stewarding Words , Acceptance in the Honors Program.
