MUSI 3343 - Songwriting

This class examines the fundamentals of songwriting and is designed for both first time and experienced songwriters. It includes the study of chord progressions, lyrics, rhythm, and the form and structure of songs. Students will learn, analyze, and apply the foundational and structural elements of songwriting, as well as have the opportunity to write and perform original music.
