COMM 3603 - Research Methods


3 credits

This course introduces students to the social scientific research methods in the Communication Studies discipline. In this class, students will learn about ethical principles required in research, along with the methodologies of conducting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative research. In addition, students will have the opportunity to critically analyze and translate empirical studies alongside their learning. The course material provides a better understanding of the process of research and its importance in various career paths.
Prerequisite: COMM 1003 - Introduction to Human Communication
