THEO 2293 - Christian Vocation

This course offers an orientation to the topic of Christian vocation by developing a biblical theology of the Imago Dei. Students will learn to situate practical matters of faith and work, as well as personal concerns about calling, within a robust biblical framework that is attentive to the identities and collective vocations of human beings, covenantal communities, and followers of Jesus. Attention will be given to biblical themes and theological vocabulary that clarify connections between the work of human agents and their participation in the redemptive work of God.
