ENGL 1843 - Early Modern Literature


3 credits

A course exploring early modern literature from the late 15th to the 17th centuries. This course examines key texts from renowned authors like Shakespeare, Milton, and Donne, focusing on themes of identity, power, and the emerging modern world. Through close readings and critical analysis this course analyses how literature reflects and shapes the social, political, and cultural transformations of the era.
