MATH 1133 - Practical Mathematics

A foundational course applying math knowledge and skills to everyday situations over one’s lifetime. The class focuses on handling personal finances, developing reasoning ability, using computational technology, and understanding and communicating basic statistical information. Particular attention is paid to seeing elegance in mathematical systems, opening up ways of knowing God and noticing design within numerical data.
