PAMA 5619 - Clinical Medicine I 9 credits
This course is the first in a series of three courses focusing on various conditions and disease states commonly evaluated in the practice of medicine. The student will master the genetic and molecular mechanisms of health and disease, underlying pathophysiology, clinical presentation, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of common diseases of patients across the lifespan. This course series is part of the core curriculum that will follow the organ systems in a modular fashion.
Prerequisite: Admission to the PA program.
