Explores relationships between education and psychology in the classroom with emphasis on cognitive, moral, and social development; learning problems; and diversity issues. Helps aspiring teachers to recognize the special needs of students with disabilities, talents, and learning gifts. Attention given to laws governing special education, as applied in the public school setting.
