The Product Design minor program will provide the basic skills necessary for creating products and interfaces that serve the needs of users in a variety of contexts. It will teach a product design approach that can be extremely useful when combined with other majors. For example, a Computer Science major combined with the Product Design minor can provide the skills necessary for Front End Development; i.e. creating user interfaces to complex applications. Another example is Business Entrepreneurship, where product design can be the key to a successful new business.
