Degree Requirements
The Music Production degree builds on general music knowledge and skills to specifically prepare students to use technology to produce and record musical performances.
Students will focus on the role of a recording engineer or producer in refining and reproducing quality musical products for a commercial market. Students may also choose to apply these skills in producing quality worship and performance experiences in the Church. The Christian value system and perspective, particularly as it relates to the modern recording/performance environment and the music industry, will be integrated throughout the academic program.
Graduates with a degree in Music Production will be able to:
- Create recorded musical product, using musical and recording technologies.
- Collaborate with a team to produce a live event
- Evaluate musical arrangements.
- Articulate how faith informs work in the field of Music Production
