Degree Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in film production equips students with technical skills and creative insights needed to produce films. This degree will include courses in cinematography, directing, editing, and sound design which will provide hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and software. Students will learn to work within camera and picture departments, ss well as learn how to collaborate with other departments of the film process such as sound and music. By the end of the program, graduates will not only be technically and creatively prepared for careers in the film industry but also have a clear understanding of how their faith in Christ interacts with the entertainment industry.
Graduates with a degree in Film Production will be able to:
- Create film productions using standard entertainment industry practices.
- Collaborate on team projects to generate a video or film.
- Demonstrate mastery of cinematography.
- Develop mastery in post-production picture editing.
- Articulate how faith informs work in the field of Film Production.

The Film Production program equips students with technical and creative mastery required for the modern entertainment landscape by requiring the selection of a specialized concentration in either Audio Production or Digital Video Production, both of which integrate professional industry standards with a redemptive, faith-based approach to storytelling. This concentration provides a technical foundation in sound capture and manipulation, preparing students for professional roles in studio recording and sonic design. Concentration in Digital Video Production
