[Meets the Core Curriculum Writing Practice Requirement] An introduction to basic concepts to understand and evaluate operating systems and network technologies. This course introduces issues impacting operating system design, implementation and selection. This course also provides an understanding of the technologies underlying the Internet and the WWW.
