NURS 4921 - Maternity Nursing: Therapeutic Interventions

[Practicum] Applies concepts of health assessments and interventions specific to healthy and at-risk families as learned in NURS 4322 Health of the Child-Bearing Family. Experiences include care management of prospective families, and pregnant families from pre-term through post-delivery. Combines clinical diagnostic reasoning, ethical decision-making, and therapeutic monitoring skills acquired in previous nursing courses with multi-complex scope of client interactions.
