NURS 4103 - Transition to Professional Nursing Practice

Facilitates the transition into entry-level professional nursing practice. Examines the benchmarks associated with professional licensure and provides a foundation for the continuous self-evaluation and life-long learning required for professional development. Explores opportunities for the professional nurse to engage in professional activities or organizations. Studies the core values of the discipline of nursing and the profession’s relationship to moral, ethical, and legal conduct.

Corequisite: Senior Nursing Majors; NURS 4562 Nursing Research: Methods & Applications.
