INTC 6323 - Database Administration and Management 3 credits
This course is a study of the fundamentals of managing and maintaining database management systems, techniques for the design of databases, and principles of database administration. Emphasis is given to the theory, application, and management of relational database technology. Database concepts, practices, and emerging trends are examined in-depth. Additional topics include relational data modeling, understanding entities and relationships, data queries, and using SQL to manage and retrieve data within an Oracle database management system.
