HIST 3613 - Church History II

[Meets the Core Curriculum Writing Practice Requirement] A survey of the Christian church, especially in the West, from the sixteenth century Reformation to the present day. Topics include the leaders and issues of the Reformation, the Catholic Counter-Reformation, the emergence of the many Protestant traditions, the modern missions movement, the church in an increasingly secularized society, and the role of the church in U.S. history.
