NURS 3346 - Health Assessment, Pathology, and Nursing Interventions


6 credits

Introduces concepts that form the knowledge base of nursing’s core values, scientific and artful holistic health assessments (bio-psycho-social-developmental-cultural-spiritual dimensions), health and nursing diagnoses, planned interventions including pharmacological therapeutics, and evaluation processes. This course introduces information management technology and communication methods, and client rights, legal, and confidentiality issues.  A one-time, non-refundable RN pre-testing package fee is required. Prerequisite: Admission into Nursing Program.
Corequisite: NURS 3946 Therapeutic Nursing Interventions I.
