BIBL 5553 - Biblical Hermeneutics

Effectual study and articulation of the message the Bible is essential to the spiritual growth of Christian believers and to the mission of the Church. This course presents the values, strategies, and practices needed to interpret the diverse features of revelation represented in the Bible. Special attention is given to the development of an appropriate spiritual and intellectual framework for biblical interpretation including an introduction to the methods and tools essential to the responsible reading of Scripture.
